How long have you been in business?

AHR have been in business for 26 years – we first started working with businesses in 1994.

How does your EAP service work?

Our EAP service provides face-to-face counselling to all staff seeking support. Telephone and video counselling is available as a backup.

Will my employer know that I contacted the service?

No. We will not tell your employer that you contacted the service?

Can you visit our workplace if required?

Yes. If on-site support is needed we will travel to your workplace.

Where are you based?

We are based in Cork and Dublin, but we cover the island of Ireland.

Are you qualified professionals?

Yes, we are qualified and registered Psychologists and Counsellors.

Do you operate nationwide?

Yes, we have Counsellors and Psychologists throughout the island of Ireland.

How does this service work?

Employees contact us to meet with a Counsellor to help them deal with any personal or work-related problem impacting on their wellbeing.

Is everything said confidential?

Yes, unless you or someone else is at risk of harm.

Do you work with SME's or just large organisations?

We work with organisations of every size.

Critical Incident and Crisis Support

Is this service just for Fire Fighters?

No. Crisis support is available to all organisations.

What exactly do you do in a crisis scenario?

We travel on site to support staff and help the workplace get back to normal functioning.

How fast can you respond to an emergency?

For retained clients it is a same day service.
